To Be Selfless or Selfish?
It is hard to remember I am brilliant! We are literally surrounding by thousands of messages every day that in some shape or form we are not enough. It is good to know that “remembering” comes through the people, places, experiences, roles and choices we make. Each moment unfolds and combines, like ingredients for a scrumptious dinner to comprise our life. Moments of serendipity, surprise, order and flow mixed with moments that are messy, chaotic, unplanned, unexpected, unwanted and chaotic. And we feel stuck, powerless, hopeless, out of control, unworthy, vulnerable and a whole host of undesired and uncomfortable feelings. Transformation means moving through these kinds of moments in order to uncover your truth. This is how your mess becomes your message and a gift.
Get what you came for means looking forward to and loving any experience that reminds you of your truth. You already are perfect and whole. All healing, regardless of modality, is a version of returning to this truth, physically, mentally, emotionally and or spiritually. Reclaiming your power and truth. And we need others in community and unity for our individual and collective remembering (healing). Humans we are not wired to do this remembering alone. That is the essence of the All Embracing Change Community. Change is constant because we are constantly in motion remembering and returning to truth and living from that place.
What is the condition of your inner world? When your inner world is dominated by beliefs, stories, should’s which are just others agendas of who you are, will be and what you will or can do in this life, you are separated from your truth. Reclaiming you is your number one job. Focusing on you is selfless because reclaiming your power is something only you can do. Asking others to do work only you can do is selfish. Current culture has these meanings twisted, perhaps to keep us separate from our truth. Powerful beyond your imagination is what happens when your inner world is aligned with your truth. And that scares a lot of people, maybe even you. Marianne Williamson said, “Our worst fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.”
